Because you'd never know if I didn't tell you.

Hooray! The invitations are in the mail and even arriving at some of their destinations already. Dropping them in the mail Saturday morning was much more intense than I'd expected. When I drove away I felt like I'd left my child behind. Okay, maybe not that serious but it was hard to unleash them on the world. What if I forgot something? What if there's some horrible, relation-ship ending, tear inducing typo? Unlikely but not impossible!

Joel was no help. After I penned the last address he told me Gainesville was spelled wrong. On the last one. Of, like, a zillion. I should know better than to believe anything he says anymore but there was a definite moment where I stopped breathing. Later the star speller asked me how to spell shackled. As in "I can't, because I'm shackled now". The invites were already in the mail by then.

But that's not the point. The point is that I couldn't make up my mind about what paper to use with the envelopes. I liked a lot of very different things so...I used them all!

While I can't say no two invites are alike, I can say no 10 are alike. I don't even know who got what so if you're curious here they all are:

Can they come live with me?

Joel emailed me a picture from work last week. It was a picture of the "Chirp" china and accessories we've picked for our formal dishes. They were the subject of a Dillard's photo shoot at the studio that day.

We're registered at Macy's but apparently "Chirp" has really caught on and you can get it at B,B&B and Dillard's too. While I'm a little annoyed that our china is about be very over-exposed it is nice to have our good taste reinforced! And I'm convinced I discovered them!!

I asked if there was any chance the dishes could "disappear" and show up at my house at the end of the day but no luck ;)
